Aleksandr Aleksandrovich
Alabjew (August 15, 1787 Tobols k - March 6, 1851 Moscow) - Russian composer, one of the pioneers in the music of Russian Romanticism. Born in Tobolsk far, was ab le to move through the education to St. Petersburg in 1796, where his father was a high official of the Tsar. The first compositions delivered in 1810-1811, among which is dedicated to John Fieldowi Polonaise in E flat major. In 1812 he took part in the war against Napoleon. Only in 1823, he left the army and settled in Moscow, where he devoted himself as a composer.
